My trades are made mostly because I believe a stock is the strongest of the day and I think the market will go up, or vice versa on the short side.

However, once you know that, you can experiment with indicators that help YOU make decisions on your own. Everyone is different in what they like to watch. But you must make the indicators just part of your reason for trading, not THE reason. I watch the 5 min MACD oscillator on Realtick because it helps me; more often than not it keeps me out of a trade rather than gets me into one, but it is never the sole reason for a trade.

Most of TA sucks. That's the most important thing you can know about it. There is no secret formula. If there were, someone would have already found it, and they would have all the money in the world. The market is a dynamic fluctuation of emotions that no formula can predict.
